How did you get your Beta key?

If anyone got a Beta key tell me your story. Im just curious. And if anyone has an extra code to spare....Please?


Also, I wouldnt mind knowing how you got so many codes. It seems a lot of people on other forums have a bunch of codes and I dont know why.

I got mine after not winning any contests and going to the playstation forums and just doing whatever each personal post said to do. People had one or two to give away. And it might have been being the 6th poster, or making a funny sackboy, or having a good reason why. And I just did those all of yesterday until I finaly got one. Took a long time, and a lot of tries. Not to mention all the regular contests I did. But now its time to play more!

I'm a member on gamefaqs.com and there was a thread for people to post their psn ids so we have more friends to play with at launch. So, i added about 25 people and i started talking to this one guy. We exchanged info on sites that may have codes and eventually he got 2 and gave one to me generously. I then received my ign code, which i gave to my friend, my gamespot code, which i gave to a kid who i added from the psn id thread, my official site code, which i gave to a random kid on the gamefaqs forums, and now im codeless!

Well I got my one and only code from this site. I'm actually at work at the moment, but I can't wait to get home tonight, sit back and make some levels. LBP is a great game that has sooo many possibilities.

I got 2, one from GamePro, and one from PlayStation, which I gave away to Vader05.

After trying everything to get a beta key (contests, sign-ups, giveaways) I still hadn't had one. I was about to give up when I recieved a message in my PlayStation Underground inbox. Some guy gave me a code and said "have fun." I was so excited and it's a Euro Beta code.

I got mine... because Kevon gave it to me 45 minutes into the future.

If I didnt get mine, thats cuz someone went into the past 45 minutes into the future and messed up the space-time continuum. I hope no one does though... I really, really want to make a college level haha :-)

Someone went into the past and messed up the fragile fabric of space and time... thereby denying me the beta code. Dont worry, I will find out who the perpetrator of this heinous crime was, and suitable punishment will be meted out.

I haven't gotten a key yet. Now that I think about it, its not worth getting into the Beta. I would rather wait for the full game to come out than to get bored of the Beta.Well, thats assuming I would get bored of it before the 11th or whenever the Beta ends. I can't wait to play the actual game, so I'm not all that annoyed that I haven't got a key..

I wish i had one i was waiting for one by a gamestop for 5 hours for a giveaway but they ran out before i could get one
